Am I covered by the airline for lost luggage?

By law, airlines only must pay a minimum value per kilo of luggage, so your belongings will rarely be covered in full. TW includes comprehensive protection for your luggage, compensating you in case of delay, loss and / or total damage, complementing what the airline can refund to you.

What happens if my luggage is delayed?

TW has coverage for delayed delivery of your luggage (from the first 6 hours) with compensation in dollars for essential items that may vary according to the plan you choose.

Can I cancel or modify the validity of my travel assistance?

Once the validity of the certificate or voucher has started, it will not be possible to cancel or modify it, except if requested in advance, up to 24 hours (business day) before the start date of the trip. If the request is accepted, it will incur a penalty of 20% of the amount paid.

What requirements do countries in the Schengen area require for foreign travelers in terms of health coverage?

The Schengen treaty establishes the obligation - for tourists visiting its member countries- the countries- to contract a Travel Assistance plan with a minimum amount of € 30,000 or its equivalent in US dollars to guarantee their medical attention for emergencies and repatriation.

What is understood as long stay?

We understand long stay as those trips that last a minimum of 61 days and a maximum of 365.
